Holy Trinity C of E Academy, Rothwell awarded Good in all areas by Ofsted

Staff and pupils at Holy Trinity Church of England Primary, Rothwell welcomed the inspectors at the end of last year. The confirmed that the school continues to maintain its strong performance, with inspectors noting the positive atmosphere and supportive environment at the school.

The inspection praised the school for its commitment to helping pupils thrive, with the report stating, 鈥淧upils enjoy learning and rise to meet the high expectations set by the school. They are proud of their own achievements and celebrate the successes of others.鈥� The school鈥檚 warm and inclusive atmosphere was also highlighted, with parents particularly valuing the support offered to both children and families. Many parents spoke of the confidence the school had helped instil in their children, commending its progressive environment. They also highlighted how staff genuinely care about their child鈥檚 wellbeing and development.

School leaders were commended for the 鈥渆ffective changes to the curriculum. These changes resulted in significant improvement to pupils鈥� achievements.鈥� Inspectors noted the school鈥檚 broad and ambitious curriculum, designed to foster deep understanding in all subjects while building important skills. The school鈥檚 emphasis on reading was also recognised, with shared reading activities helping to cultivate a love of reading among pupils.
